FURLUX Care+ Protection Plan: Terms & Services

1. Plan Overview

The FURLUX Care+ Protection Plan ("The Plan") is an optional extended service agreement designed to provide peace of mind for your eyewear. This Plan extends beyond our Standard Manufacturer's Warranty to cover accidental damage and lifestyle-related wear.

2. Coverage Period

Coverage begins on the date of delivery and remains active for twelve (12) consecutive months. The Plan is a one-time service contract and expires once the replacement benefit has been fully utilized.

3. What is Covered ("Oops" Protection)

Under FURLUX Care+, you are entitled to a one-time replacement of your frames and/or lenses for the following reasons:

  • Accidental Damage: Broken, cracked, or stepped-on frames and lenses.

  • Deep Scratches: Significant lens scratches that impair vision.

  • Prescription Changes: A one-time update if your doctor changes your prescription within the first six (6) months of ownership.

  • Coating Failures: Any peeling or bubbling of Anti-Reflective or Blue-Shield coatings not covered by the standard warranty.

4. What is Not Covered

To maintain our boutique service standards, the following exclusions apply:

  • Loss or Theft: We do not replace lost or stolen eyewear.

  • Intentional Alteration: Damage caused by DIY repairs, glue, or unauthorized third-party heat adjustments.

  • Cosmetic Aging: Minor hairline scratches or slight discoloration from hair products/oils that do not affect visual performance.

  • Subsequent Replacements: Once a replacement pair has been issued, the Care+ Plan for that order is considered fulfilled. Coverage does not "roll over" to the new pair.

5. The "No-Hassle" Claim Process

To file a claim, follow these steps:

  1. Initiate: Email contact@furluxusa.com with your original Order Number and a clear photo of the damage.

  2. Authorization: You will receive a Return Authorization (RA) and a pre-paid shipping label.

  3. Return: You must return the damaged eyewear (frames and any remaining lens pieces) to our New York facility.

  4. Fulfillment: Once received, our lab will process your replacement. Your new pair will be shipped to you within 5–7 business days.

6. Service Fees & Deductibles

There are no hidden deductibles. Your one-time replacement under FURLUX Care+ is fully covered by the initial enrollment fee paid at checkout.
